Job Description:

The candidate will be responsible for Day to Day O&M activities at a GSM switching facility that comprises of Ericsson MSCs and BSCs, Alcatel Media Gateway, Nortel HLR and various transport equipment.
Ericsson UMTS knowhow will be an added advantage.
Candidate is required to have hands on experience with the transport DACS with sound knowledge of tranport standards. Should be able to handle transport path builds and troubleshooting at ATM, Fiber and copper levels.
Candidate must have good understanding of Ericsson MSCs and BSCs. Knowledge of Alcatel Media Gateway and Nortel switches will be an added advantage.

 
Minimum Required Skills / Competencies:

At least 5 years O&M experience in GSM switching environment.
Hands on experience with Transport and should be well versed with transport standards.
Hands on experience on Ericsson BSS and NSS switches.
Be able to make BSC and MSC DT and configuration changes confidently
