Job Description:

Responsible for preparing System design, implementation and execution plans through collaboration with other engineering teams.
• DACS/RSP port assignments for BSS, DCS, ATM, IP, UMTS, MSC, MSS, & MGW and other national nodes
• DACS/RSP audits and port mapping
• Validates the network port planning documentation (qualitative/quantitative) and provide inputs for Telecommunication capital budget.
• Prepare and issue work order for operations personnel to configure, install, and integrate equipment.
• Perform and report software and hardware impact studies after equipment installation.
• Implement equipment configurations changes.
• Provisioning of Tellabs DACS/Alcatel RSP
• Extensive hands on experience in designing & provisioning of PVCs and TDM circuits
• Build Missing equipment in Granite post system audit

Minimum Required Skills / Competencies:

Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering or related field of study or the foreign equivalent degree, 4 to 7 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years of relevant work experience on Tellabs 5500/ Alcatel DACS & RSP/ ATM switches in a wireless network environment with in-depth knowledge in installation, commissioning, provisioning and trouble shooting. Knowledge of Granite database is essential. Knowledge of ATM & IP is required.
