Job Description:
our client is looking for a Regional Recruiter to:
? Oversees the entire recruitment process and ensures that company policies are
followed. This includes but is not limited to:
? Sourcing Candidates for Associate Retail Manager and Retail Store Manager positions
? Coordination of telephone screens and interviews
? Background checks
? Assessment Compliance
? Verifying the accuracy of offer letter requests to pre-determined compensation numbers for the Associate Retail Manager and Retail Store Manager positions
? Train managers on company policies and procedures relating to the employment process. Follow up to ensure compliance. Retrain as necessary
? Working with their managers, their peers, and their hiring managers to develop and implement creative and effective recruiting strategies related to short and long term needs specific to their region and/or functional area
? Utilizes their expertise to assist managers in developing a pipeline of candidates for current and future needs. This includes working with the College Recruiting team to develop Open House schedules, intern and co-op programs, as well as innovative recruiting methods and programs
? Acts as a “sounding board” for managers in relation to their hiring needs. Gives feedback to their manager on issues to field hiring
? Sources, screens, and recommends candidates for management and other difficult to fill positions
? Workforce planning and headcount planning
? Gather approved headcount prior to start of new fiscal year.
? Meet with Regional Managers and Regional Directors to set priorities
? Report/budget with headcount and position breakdown
? Sourcing strategy and execution
? Quarterly sourcing plan based on hiring priorities and profiles
? Competitive intelligence research
? Metrics and measurement of success of strategy
? Supervision of contract recruiters to ensure hiring timelines are met
? Administrative
? Background Check Exceptions
? Assures that all prospects are tracked in Applicant Tracking System
? Other duties as requested or required
? Occasional Travel
Qualifications & Competencies:
Education, Certification, Training and/ or Minimum Qualifications:
? 2-3 years of successful direct recruiting experience required; preferably in the same
functional area as they will be supporting. Experience with on-line and Internet
recruiting. Some experience with a multi-location employer is highly desirable. Prior
telecommunications experience is a plus
? Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
? Knowledge of human resources practices as well as federal and state laws related to employment
? Must be PC and Internet literate; including Microsoft Office applications
? Experience working with a resume tracking database, HTML and HRIS a plus
