Job Description:
This position reports to the Treasury Director and will manage a staff of 3 and will have responsibility of cash management for all company legal entities; management of all credit/debit and electronic payments including compliance to credit/debit card and NACHA regulations; management of the treasury workstation and bank service fee software; and responsible for SOX controls in his/her area. He/she will perform the following duties including but not limited to:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Cash Forecasting and Analysis – Reviews weekly cash forecast prepared by analysts. Forecast goes out one full year. Provides and coaches analysts on quarterly updates of cash forecasts. Oversees analysis on a quarterly basis, to justify updates to cash forecast, and reconciles short-term cash forecast to finance planning and analysis long-term cash forecast and operating free cash flow. Prepare these forecasts as backup to ensure three people are always fully trained to do the various cash forecasts.
• Morning Cash Position: Perform backup function to Treasury Analysts on daily cash position (DCP). Do management review of DCP each morning and sign off on DCP for SOX purposes and verify and initial pre-approved repetitive wires. Other Treasury Mgr will do this review as backup.
• Working Capital – Establish and report on working capital metrics. Ensure compliance to vendor payment terms policy.
• Bank Fee Management – Oversee monthly analysis of banking fees to ensure fees are correct, volumes are current and services are tagged with the correct AFP codes using the Weiland BRM software.
• Credit/Debit Card and NACHA Compliance – Subject matter expert on payment regulations for credit/debit and ACH. Expertise in interchange fees to help drive costs out of the business and to ensure company qualifies at the lowest rates possible.
• Electronic Payment Projects – Provide support to analyst on projects and participate in projects related to credit/debit and other electronic payments. Provide proactive leadership role in any new analysis involving payment automation and reduction in fees.
• Reporting - Provide and/or review various analytical reports as needed for management including cash forecasting, credit/debit, investment and debt reporting. This includes analyzing daily cash variance reports for trends, forecasting and performance. Prepare credit/debit/electronic check management reporting package on a rotating basis with analyst. Transition Excel reporting of this package into a more functional database.
• Treasury Workstation - Responsible for implementing a new treasury workstation.. Perform maintenance and upgrades of Treasury workstation including testing business continuity plan at least once a year.
• Policies & Procedures - Ensure proper controls are in place for each bank account to minimize internal/external fraud. Document procedures that include high-level procedures for senior management in the use of the treasury workstation and other software or web-based systems. Ensure other existing procedures are reviewed once a year for compliance.
• Process Improvement: Review constantly changing banking structure and make justifiable recommendations for improvements. Takes an active role in researching and recommending process efficiencies and improvements.
• Team Support - Act as liaison between T-Mobile personnel and our banks. Provide support to cross-functional teams and conduct analysis as needed to support project objectives.
• Merger and Acquisitions - Research and identify banking requirements related to M&A. This may include setting up new bank accounts and services and/or transitioning existing accounts over to T-Mobile.
• Requests for Proposals (RFPs) – Send out RFPs periodically for services to ensure our processes are focused on best practices as well as ensuring existing services have competitive pricing.
• Other: Perform special projects as assigned by Treasury Director and provide backup function when director is out of office. Perform backup functions to other treasury manager as needed.
Qualifications:
4-year degree in business with 7+ years of treasury experience, including 3 years managing a team.

• Must possess strong technological, analytical, and problem solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Treasury workstation experience required.
• Indepth knowledge of/experience with banking services and products, and accounting concepts and controls preferred.
• Effectively interact with internal and external business partners, specifically possessing the ability to explain processes to non-treasury employees.
• Wireless communication industry or retail industry experience preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Certified Cash Manager (CCM) or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) highly recommended.
