Job Description:

TThis person will provide Construction Management for installation of new cell sites and modification of existing sites. Candidate will be responsible for all phases of construction in specified markets. This person will need to interface with all Engineering departments to prioritize, secure resources, reporting, communicate and ensure quality controls are in place for all construction projects.

Manage construction process of all new telecommunication facilities and modification projects to existing facilities.
• Responsible for forecasting dates and managing timelines of construction milestones.
• Order and review A&E, tower and foundation, and structural reports.
• Ensure timely review and redline process for A&E services.
• Coordinate with Real Estate Manager on zoning and regulatory requirements for site design.
• Monitor status of telco walks, work orders, circuit delivery and identify challenges.
• Manage bid walks, GC selection, and purchase order timing.
• Prioritize projects and coordinate scheduling with cross-functional departments.
• Oversee BOM ordering, receipt and distribution of materials, and manage local warehouse inventory.
• Develop positive relationships with property owners and negotiate any issues to mutual satisfaction through the build process.
• Review purchase orders for financial management of goods and services received.
• Plan quarterly budget for new sites and modification projects based on forecasted due dates.
• Attend weekly site expansion deployment meetings.
• Possible travel to various market offices for development and team meetings each month . Some overnight stays required.
• Address any and all other post installation issues.

Minimum Required Skills / Competencies:


Minimum 2-5 years industry or related construction experience.
• Construction subject matter expert and familiar with pre-construction milestones.
• Ability to negotiate with and manage general contractors and vendors.
• Familiar with various regulatory and environmental issues that impact site selection.
• Ability to communicate and work in teams on a regular basis at multiple levels.
• Must be able to clearly state goals and provide direction concerning development milestone progress.
• Must demonstrate the ability to think critically through a process, anticipate challenges, and prepare solutions in advance.
• Must demonstrate the ability to identify inefficient processes and make recommendations for improvement.
• Experience delivering presentations and speaking in front of large groups.
• Able to identify critical tasks and organize times without supervision.

Strong communication skills both written and verbal with
3+ years of wireless industry experience
• Strong understanding of Construction and wireless development processes.
• Excel, PowerPoint, and general database experience needed.
