Job Description:
Team Lead - Design & implement connectivity within T-Mobile Network including IMTs, A-links & PSTN T1s. Perform and assist transport grooms, rollovers, and audits. Updating Xpercom to keep accurate records. Coordinating circuit turn up with internal switch operations and ATM Transport. Maintain constant communication within T-Mobile & with various Telcos.
Functional/Technical: Knowledge of data communications, protocols and technologies such as: TDM, ATM, Frame Relay, SS-7, TCP/IP, X.25, SONET and VoIP. Strong personal computer skills required including knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, MapInfo, Visio and Granite provisioning software. Preferred Knowledge of all MSC and BSC platforms (Ericsson, Nokia, Nortel, Spatial Wireless). Preferred knowleged of DACCS platforms (Tellabs and Alcatel) Good working knowledge of databases required.
Performance duties: Must have strong communication skills, prior vendor management experience. This position requires in-depth knowledge of the PSTN, LERG and telecommunications transport networks and their configurations. Advanced knowledge of circuit provisioning. Associates degrees in applied sciences 2-5 years technical Telecom Experience
A minimum of 2 year experience in either one or all of the activities such as, drive testing, post processing of drive test data.
