Job Description:

• Perform design and code development of applications
• Follow application design methodologies
• Perform vendor evaluations of Application products and assist management in making the right decision in procurement of such products
• Perform installation, configuration, and implementation of Application servers like WebLogic etc
• Act as liaison with network operations team and be responsible for deliverables from the engineering team by adhering to project handover processes
• Write design documents
• Install Application and other servers in the network
 

Minimum Required Skills / Competencies:

• 4 year Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other technical degree is required
• Working experience with Volantis Systems suite of Mobile Content Applications including HomeDeck, Storefront, and Transcoder.
• Working experience with xDime.
• Working experience with Unix and/or Linux as Operating systems.
• Working experience in Java, JDBC, JSP, Servlets, XML.
• Knowledge and experience in OOD/OOP, creation of domain models and on the software process and lifecycle, ability to handle both synchronous and asynchronous programming models.
• Knowledge of O/R mapping a big plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Should be motivated person who works within the team as a distinguished individual contributor.
